This track is weird. Well, it’s not weird, I shouldn’t say that. I like the track and all that, but it’s how Mr. Mac DeMarco sings it. 

I got something to admit. Sometimes, on rare occasions, usually when I am kind of bored, I’ll start making up songs and I’ll sing those songs. Sometimes, I take a turn and become a persona that is a gothic, darkwave rock-star. I don’t know why I do this. It’s not an area of music I am heavily into or anything. I just find it fun to make up songs as if I was in a obscure subculture in England in 1982.

What trips me out, is when I am doing my graveyard superstar persona, singing morose ballads about dead flowers, ruined lace and of pale-faced women with died black hair who refuse to look at me or show any emotional connection as we make love, is that I sing just like Mr DeMarco here! It’s as if he’s in my mind! Tripping me out!!!

Anyways, enjoy the track and ignore me and my little story. Peace.
