Kurt Vile - The Creature

Somewhat Dylan-esq in that the vocals and rhythm seem to be disconnected from each other: each does its own thing at their own pace.  The rhythm has a serious pace to it thanks to the shaker.  The vocals are a bit more laid back and slower.  This is a great track!

Sam Roberts Band - Brother Down

Take a listen - an early song by Sam Roberts, but one of my all time favorites.  I love the surf-rock fusion going on here.  It reminds me of one of the few great songs from Porno For Pyros’ second album, Tahitian Moon

A cool little reggae infused song.  At first I thought I was hearing the singer from The Duke Spirit.  She’s actually an Icelandic singer.
